A deep-dive on audience-segment monthly optimization across both bidding strategies. Maximize Clicks: bid up segments that over-index on conversions, using observation-mode data accumulated since launch. Smart Bidding: percentage adjustments are ignored; exclude consistently underperforming segments (CPA ≥1.5× campaign average across both this 30d AND prior 30d) OR restrict the campaign to high-converting audiences only.
