When to use: Call 1 didn’t close because there’s a real decision-maker missing (spouse, partner, co-owner). You booked a second call (the audit call) with the decision-maker on it.

How to use

  1. Book the audit call while still on call 1. Don’t end the call with “let’s follow up next week.” Lock the slot on the spot, with the decision-maker confirmed.
  2. Send a recap text within 5 minutes of call 1 ending.
  3. Between call 1 and call 2: do real prep work specific to their business. Audit their current setup, build a demo, pull together a custom roadmap. The audit call has to deliver real demonstrable value to the decision-maker.
  4. Send reminders the night before, morning of, and 1 hour before.
  5. If they go silent 24 hours out, push for confirmation.

End of call 1 (book the audit before hanging up)

Totally makes sense you need {DECISION-MAKER} on this. Let’s get them on a call with both of us. Between now and then I’ll put together a quick audit of your {current ads / current setup / business} so we can walk through exactly what we’d do for you. Does {DATE 1} or {DATE 2} work?

Get the slot before ending the call.

Right after call 1 (within 5 min)

Great talking, {NAME}. Looking forward to walking through the audit with you and {DECISION-MAKER} on {DATE}. I’ll have it ready.

Trust-asset bump (1-2 days before audit)

Pulled together a few things for our call on {DATE}. Here’s a quick breakdown of one of the {trade} accounts we’ve been working on, pretty close to your setup: {LINK}

Night before the audit

Looking forward to our call tomorrow at {TIME}. {DECISION-MAKER} confirmed on their end?

1 hour before

Heading in. Link’s on the invite — see you in a few.

If they go silent 24h out

Hey {NAME}, prepping the audit for tomorrow. Quick thumbs up that we’re still on?

Cancel and reschedule (12 hours out, still silent)

Hey {NAME}, haven’t heard back so I’ll free up that slot. {DATE 1} or {DATE 2} better for you and {DECISION-MAKER}?
